THE COMPANY

Scriptura Limited was founded by Colin Dunn following seven years of work on two major academic research projects that, in collaboration with conservators and custodians, pioneered an approach to the digitisation of rare and fragile manuscripts from special collections: Early Manuscripts Imaging Project (1996–2000) at the University of Oxford in partnership with the Bodleian Library and six of the College libraries (Balliol, Corpus Christi, Jesus, Magdalen, Merton and St. John’s); Irish Script On Screen Project (1998–) at the Dublin Institute for Advanced Studies in partnership with Trinity College Dublin, Royal Irish Academy, National Library of Ireland, University College Dublin and University College Galway.
